Our story
Built by family. For the community.
Avid Caddie started the way a lot of great golf stories do — with two brothers who grew up playing the game together in Colorado.
The brothers
Two paths. One game.
Avid Caddie started the way a lot of great golf stories do — with two brothers who grew up playing the game together in Colorado, pushing each other every round. Kevin stayed close to home, while Tom took his game to Southern California, building his career as a PGA Associate inside private clubs where the details, the discipline, and the environment shape better golfers.
But no matter where they were, one thing never changed — Kevin was always chasing Tommy, trying to beat him, and both of them chasing a better version of their game.
Over time, that contrast became clear. The best parts of golf — the consistency, the camaraderie, the elevated experience — were often locked behind private club access. And they both knew that didn’t reflect the majority of golfers they grew up with. So the idea wasn’t to change the game — it was to open it up. To bring that private club feel, that intentional practice, that sense of belonging, back home to Colorado in a way that was accessible to the everyday golfer who’s serious about getting better.
Avid Caddie is that vision brought to life — a homecoming, a shared dream, and a place built for golfers who love the game enough to chase it. Because not everyone can join a private club — but every golfer deserves a space that helps them play like they belong to one.
All the greats have a caddie. Now, more golfers do.
